Intercooler

The flaws in the intercooler can be identified in the following situations:

  • Reduction of engine performance;
  • Loss of coolant (only in vehicles that use water cooled intercoolers);
  • Increase in pollutant emissions;
  • Increased fuel consumption;
Because of flaws:

  • Damage or blockage of the hoses;
  • Loss of coolant or air leakage;
  • External damage (eg accident.);
  • Reduction of air flow due to dirt;
  • Problems in the turbo;
  • Poor heat transfer due to corrosion, scale and / or sealing agent;
